Volunteering with the Tapemark Pro-am is easy, simple and fun!

1. Do you like golf and would like to spend a fun weekend helping at a golf tournament?
2. Are you an individual looking for an opportunity to give back to your community?
3. Are you part of a group who would like to do a volunteer outing?
4. Do you have the time to help us plan and develop new strategies?

We use over 100 volunteers the weekend of our Men’s Pro-Am (June 10-13, 2010) and a handful of volunteers for our Women’s Event (September 20, 2010). We also have several committees who meet quarterly to brainstorm, plan, and use their connections to help us raise much needed funds for our benefiting agencies.

Pro-Am Ops:

Join us for a shift, an hour, a day, or the whole weekend, we would love to have your help! There are a variety of opportunities available throughout the entire weekend.

• Merchandise sales help is needed Wednesday the 9th through Sun the 13th.
• Assistance with setting up the course and concession stands is needed on Thursday afternoon, June 10th.
• Volunteers familiar with golf and online networking resources are needed throughout the weekend.
• Concessions, golf cart runners, golfer check-in, photographers & raffle ticket sales Friday-Sat – Sun 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• Start assistants are needed from 6:00-9:30 am and 11-2:30 pm each day.
• In addition to tournament duties, volunteers are also needed to assist with Saturday evenings’ events: set-up, merchandise sales, raffle ticket sales & the raffle drawing.
• If you are comfortable with golf, and have knowledge about scoring, a limited number of volunteers are needed to assist with the scoreboard as well.

Women’s Event:

• Help spread the word about the fun day of golf! Distribute invitations to play, posters, and visit Spring golf meetings (April & May).
• Help us get donations for our auction, raffle, and golfer goodie bags.
• Work the day of the tournament taking photos, driving the drink cart, helping set up, run registration, merchandise sales and other day-of event needs.
