The 16th Annual Tapemark Charity Women’s Golf Event, presented by Anderson Agency, is just over a month away, and we’d love for you to be a part of this exciting event. Ryan Helminen has a two-stroke lead heading down the stretch over clubhouse leaders Joe O’Brien and Mario Tiziani.
Sunday saw some bird-watching on hole number six when pro Tom Dolby and amateur Russ Newman holed back-to-back wedge shots for consecutive eagles. Dolby holed out from 80 yards, then Newman flew his 60-yarder in right on top of Dolby’s ball.

When the final group of golfers cleared the course shortly after 9:00p.m. the first round of the Tapemark Charity Pro-Am drew to a close. After bouts of thunderstorms and passing showers, all golfers completed play in one of the most challenging weather conditions in the event’s 39 year history. At the top of the professional leader board, stood Hastings professional, Chris Borgen at -5, one stroke ahead of two time winner, John Carlson of Wayzata Country Club.

Play is underway at the 2010 Tapemark!
Afternoon players (teams 31-61) started the afternoon shotgun at 3:50PM. Rounds that are not completed will tentatively resume at 6:40AM on Saturday.
Note: carts will be extremely limited today due to conditions. We recommend you bring the lightest bag you have or find a friend to caddy. If you are physically unable to walk, please contact Phil Callen.
