You don’t have to be a golfer to support the Tapemark Charity Pro-Am, just ask Tim Madden. He has never played in the tournament, but has been a longtime supporter.
For the past 10 years, Madden has contributed monetarily to the Tapemark, citing the tournament’s mission as his reason for support. “Really it just comes down to the cause they are supporting,” says Madden. “Helping people with disabilities has been a huge part of my life and I want to continue to support other organizations who do the same.”

Southview CC head golf professional Phil Anderson talks about an important consideration to make the cut at the Tapemark Charity Pro-Am.

Qualifying for the Tapemark Charity Pro-Am went four extra holes today before the final ten golfers earned their place in the years second major championship. Twenty-two professionals competed for ten spots at Southview Country Club in West St. Paul. Today’s favorite Tapemark memory comes from Tom Cody, Director of Golf
My favorite memories of this tournament really have nothing to do with the actual game of golf.  At the first Tapemark in 1972, my role involved running errands, recording scorecards and making homemade signs for the hot dog stands.
